Indeed, we are what we eat. Since the age when humans were hunter-gatherer to the age of modern urban human, food has been a central pillar to the socio-economic development of the human race. It has been a geometric progression from Eat whenever available life to Eat whenever/whatever want life. Despite this, we, as mankind, are still grappling with inculcating the right habits of feeding ourselves. This progression has ill-transformed us from being an “Eat-to-Live” animal to become a “Live-to-Eat” being. Though we have mastered this survival need in Maslow’s hierarchy, the same is now challenging our survival by way of inducing lifestyle diseases.

The above quest led me to Dt. Shweta Nagar. In addition to being a well-experienced nutritionist, Shweta is a wonderful person to interact with and to learn from.

The same principle is practised by Shweta for her clients. During the course, she has worked on inculcating right eating habits in me. Eating everything but Mindfully – is the core mantra of her training. It’s been four+ months now and I am much happier about this transformation she has brought in me. Unlike other dieticians, Shweta is not much prescriptive. Instead of prescribing what to eat every time, she has mainly worked upon developing the wisdom of eating in me thus making me independent to lead a healthy lifestyle forever.
