QUINOA PATTIS

RECIPE BY RADHIKA THAKKAR

Ingredients:

1.5 cup quinoa cooked

1.5 cup Greenpeas boiled

1 Onion finely chopped

2 Green chillies

1 Small piece grated ginger

1/3 cup gluten-free oats ground into flour

3 cloves garlic

1 tbsp olive oil for sauté

1/2 tsp Chilli powder

1 tsp Amchur powder

salt to taste

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and shape them into medium sized pattis.

Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry them on a medium to high heat! Make sure to use as minimum oil as possible, if you make on non-stick pan you would not need to use more than ½ tablespoon of oil! 

Serve hot with mint and coriander chutney.
